5-Day Tour Overview
You will have the chance to learn about Moroccan culture and way of life from locals on this 5-day journey from Fes to Marrakech. This Fes desert tour will give you the chance to explore the Atlas with all of its beautiful villages, go to the Ziz Valley's largest palm grove, and ride an old camel in the Sahara desert while spending the night in the Merzouga desert camp. The five-day trip will take you through a variety of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Kasbahs, the renowned Atlas Studio in Ouarzazate, the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and the Tizi N'Tichka Pass. You will be dropped off in Marrakech after taking our 5-day journey from Fes to discover a new and different way of life.

Five-Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Erfoud - Merzouga
While on a private trip with Our Morocco Tours, explore the best of the Sahara in Merzouga. This five-day Fes to Merzouga itinerary begins with an early pickup from your Fez hotel, where we then travel through Berber villages and the Moroccan Swiss city of Ifrane. You go to Azrou, which is located in the well-known cedar forest. After having lunch in Midelt, we travel on to Erfoud and then Merzouga, where we stay the night and have dinner at a local hotel.
Day 2: 4x4 Excursions Around The Desert, Visit The Nomads, Berber Villages + Camel Excursion
Today, we visit Khamlia, followed by Hassilabiad and Rissani as we explore the greatest of the Merzouga dunes. To view and savour the sunset in the desert, we ride camels. You will spend the night in a typical Berber camp after eating dinner and listening to Berber songs.
Day 3: Merzouga – Tenghir - Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Today after breakfast, we go to Erfoud and Tinghir as part of our 5-day Fes to Merzouga tour, where we see spectacular gorges that rise more than 300 metres. We travel to Dades Gorges and stay the night there with dinner in a riad.
Day 4: Dades - Mgouna - Skoura – Ouarzazate
The 5-day Fes to Merzouga journey departs this morning for Kalaat Mgouna, where the annual Festival of Roses is held. We visit the Kasbah in Skoura Ameridil and the Valley of the Roses. After that, you travel to Ouarzazate to see the largest Kasbah Taourirt. Dinner is served, and you can spend the night in a hotel or kasbah.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After breakfast, we visit a movie set before continuing on to Ait Ben-Haddou, one of Morocco’s most picturesque locations. The 5-day Fes to Merzouga journey comes to an end when you visit the Kasbah of Telouet and we continue over the High Atlas highlands to the royal city of Marrakech.

The driving alone is worth the price of admission! You get to see so much of the Atlas Mountains and stop in so many cool villages. Ali is an excellent driver who is well-versed in these routes. The desert camp was stunning, and my first camel ride was unforgettable.

This company was fantastic! You get a lot out of it. Ali, our driver, was extremely helpful. He picked us up in Fes, drove us to the camel camp, and then drove us back to Marrakesh. He made sure our belongings were safe and showed us all the tourist attractions along the way. I wholeheartedly recommend it! Also, the gentleman who helped me make reservations was fantastic. We only communicated via email, and he was extremely helpful in setting everything up and working with our changig plans. This is the only company with which I would do this again! 100/10!!
