What's included

1. 1Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi n'Tichka – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades

   Early pick-up from Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with stops for panoramic views. Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village seen in Gladiator and Game of Thrones, then continue to Ouarzazate, “the gateway to the desert”, for lunch. In the afternoon, pass the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses on the way to the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.
2. 2Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorge – Jorf – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga camel ride

   After breakfast, take a short detour up the Todra Gorge for a walk beneath its huge cliffs. Continue through Jorf and Erfoud, where the oases and dry plateaus mark the start of the desert. In Merzouga, set off by camel through the dunes to the desert camp, stopping to watch the sunset and try sandboarding. Dinner followed by drumming around the campfire.
3. 3Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

   After sunrise and breakfast, ride back to Merzouga and start the drive north. Follow the Ziz Valley with its oases, red-gold cliffs and canyons lined with palm trees, then cross the Middle Atlas and its cedar forests. Stop for lunch on the way and pass through Ifrane, “Morocco’s Little Switzerland”, known for its winter snow. Arrive in Fes at around 17:00–18:00, where a taxi takes you to your hotel or riad.
